‘When I was a child, I believed the grass could feel and the stones could hear. I believed that things are mostly not as they seem and that the ghosts of the past walked among us and influenced today.
Not much has changed.
I am intrigued by the ambiguity of meaning and reality. One minute we think we “have it” for certain but this certainty is never for long.
I want to create images that invite multiple meanings. I am interested in offering possibilities, not in directing the viewer. I am interested in the layering of experience and meaning, in juxtapositions, and in discovering the more that is there, beyond conscious intent to what is unseen but there nonetheless.’
