Linshan Xiong is a contemporary realistic painter. She was born and raised in Wuhan, China. Linshan received professional training at a young age, so she has a very solid foundation in painting. Thereafter, she received her BFA in China, Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, majoring in mural and mix media painting. Linshan has worked with many materials, such as metal, lacquer, mosaics, clay, acrylic and so on. During her time in Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, Linshan participated in various art exhibitions and was involved in the production of a number of large-scale public murals. In 2011, Linshan enrolled in Academy of Art University master’s program in Fine Art Painting, focusing on realistic still life, landscape, cityscape oil painting.
