Currently, Pamela Ybañez calls Oakland California home. She works in painting, photography, and video. Pamela is also the founder of an organization called The New Hall that creates free interactive workshops for the community.
Overall, her work deals with personal and social investigations as a way to discuss issues around inequality and identity. Art was never an obvious path, but through her undergraduate and graduate studies it has become a foundation for her life.
