Javier Romero was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Growing up in New England, he was inspired by the colors of the changing seasons, but when he moved to San Francisco California it opened his eyes to a new wave of thinking and creativity that could be best described as an awakening within him. Since then he has traveled all over the US. and hitchhiked across the country 11 times, mainly to prove that he was not afraid to do it, and to see that there still are really good people out there. Javier has seen most of America on foot with thumb extended, and try to grasp the level of beauty that covers this landscape. Javier is proud to be an American, born and raised on this soil.
Javier uses many medium as a creative outlet. One main medium he uses is spoken words and the other is photography. Javier Romero wants to be seen as a poet, but foremost, an ambassador of life. He uses a honest voice by using a pen, a brush or camera when he is in that moment of creation. Creativity is just an extension of his own hands, a whisper of his soul. He shares his creativity with those who love all art. Javier is inspired by everything, but mostly with humanity. He is fascinated by people and their day to day lives. Javier makes art to inspire others as he is inspired by the world.
“I can say I am not surprised by anything when youʼve been observant of how wonderful, and cruel we are to each other, and to the world. Life waits for no one, and all time is gone in a blink. I plan to use my time well. In the grand scheme we are all family, and I am thankful to be alive, and proud to be a representative of humanity. I am excited of what is to come as I live in the now…”
