Sandra Martinez Regan is an art photographer and painter from California. She was born and raised in San Francisco and lives in the Bay Area. She finds great joy in painting and photography and is inspired by the works of Frida Kahlo, Vivian Maier, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and her father, the late Santa Fe muralist, Ross Martinez.
Sandra can be found with her Nikon D5200 camera in hand and music in her ears in the community being inspired by nature, the movement and textures of hands, the moon, and her many adventures both in NorCal and Europe. She also enjoys experimenting with various styles of paint and photography. In her Kaleidoscope Series, she crafted a custom lens to bend images with a standard DSLR lens. She hopes that you will enjoy the work shown at the Paolo Mejia Gallery: Ugly, Beautiful, and Surreal Show.
