Biography

Lupita Flores is curious in learning how children learn. She has studied Liberal Studies and Teaching, and now is studying arts integration in education. She aspires that art will become the daily norm in public education, in her own practice, and beyond.

Artist Statement

“I have chronicled my multi-media art in virtual reality for the past five years. Thinking of myself anything but the word, ‘artist.’I see the action of expressing your inner dialog/memory/feeling to the outside world as art. 

This piece represent my inner memories of a past love displayed through the layer of glass. It’s open for readers to read, but has a barrier that often comes with abstract emotions that are almost impossible to articulate.”
