“Out of the Fringes” group art show

The Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio in collaboration with Jack London Square Realty presents “Out of the Fringes”, a group art show celebrating the Afro-American Culture, Heritage and Life. We cordially invite everyone to attend our group art show that portray, relate, and translate the Afro-American Culture through individual artists’ perspective.

We invite everyone to see the show, meet and greet our guest artists, and purchase original artwork to put in your collection.

Frost Newton Art Show

The Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio cordially invites everyone to attend Frost Newton‘s closing art show at our annex gallery in East Bay. Frost’s current show exhibits a spectacularly eclectic body of work that inspires the imagination with colorful detailing. We will also be celebrating his closing art show with a fund raising in mind, and will be raffling original artwork by artists Frost Newton and by Paolo Mejia.

Purchase a ticket for $10 a piece to win an original artwork done by Paolo Mejia and Frost Newton. The fund raising will benefit a foundation supporting abused and abandoned children in the Philippines.

Call for art

The Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio with the collaboration of Jack London Square Realty are looking for guest artists to take part in our February/March art show entitled “Out of the Fringes” with the theme of African American culture/heritage month in mind. We are looking for artists that can share their view/perspective of African American life and culture in the Bay Area, and how that is translated, relayed or portrayed in art form. The art call is open to everyone.

Submission guidelines:

Send up to 10 images of work that is consistent of your style.
A list of info for the images (ie. Title and medium)
A small statement about how your work relate to African American culture/heritage.
A website that we can check out. (If you have one.)

Deadline: CLOSED

All files should be emailed to paolomejia(@hotmail.com. The show will be up from February through the end of March. The gallery will contact you if you are accepted to take part in the group show.
