This solo show will exhibit the elaborate and detailed paintings of capturing patterns in it’s extreme redundancy. Patrick Donovan is a painter who meticulously paint patterns and juxtaposes them by creating the idea of trompe l’oeil visuals on paper that are taped together forming grid patterns. The result is his mind-boggling perfection of painted pattern making.
