The Paolo Mejia Art Gallery and Design Studio with the collaboration of Jack London Square Realty are looking for guest artists to take part in our February/March art show entitled “Out of the Fringes” with the theme of African American culture/heritage month in mind. We are looking for artists that can share their view/perspective of African American life and culture in the Bay Area, and how that is translated, relayed or portrayed in art form. The art call is open to everyone.
Submission guidelines:
- Send up to 10 images of work that is consistent of your style.
- A list of info for the images (ie. Title and medium)
- A small statement about how your work relate to African American culture/heritage.
- A website that we can check out. (If you have one.)

All files should be emailed to paolomejia(@hotmail.com. The show will be up from February through the end of March. The gallery will contact you if you are accepted to take part in the group show.
